Hello,
Lexie (my wife of 35 years) and I are so excited to be part of Southwest Drive UMC. We are family people, and look forward to knowing, and passionately working with the friendly Southwest Drive family.
I have been in ministry for most of the last twenty-five years, and many of those years have been associated with United Methodist Church families. We have worked in United Methodist Churches, Southern Baptist Churches, Christian Church (Disciple of Christ) Churches, Assembly of God Churches, and independent churches. We are passionate in our worship, fervent in our prayers, and committed in our relationships.
We look forward to productive years of ministry, serving you as we are enabled by the Lord Jesus Christ. Cornerstones of our ministry are serious Bible study, daily Bible and inspiriational reading, devoted fervent prayer, and free inspirational and passionate worship. Practicing these and other essentials, we will all grow together in the family of our God and King, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lexie and I have three grown and married children, and five grandchildren. Our children and grandchildren are quite close in relationship (not in miles), and we are honored to be chosen by our Almighty Father to parent, teach, and lead them; and now to be chosen to shepherd the family of Southwest Drive UMC.
